Workshop “Better Control of the Voice”

Following his artistic career and his training as a traditional Indian singer, Ravi Prasad has developed his own pedagogy for training the voice for over 20 years and has passed it to audiences of all ages and levels.
Through his teaching he allows each person to discover and explore the possibilities of their voice by learning the fundamental techniques he has created.  This teaching requires no musical knowledge.
Topics Include: awareness of posture, preparing the body as an instrument, the relationship between respiration and the breath, voice placement, listening to the inner resonance, note placement and the applications through the song and its different expressions.
